Pretty Hair is Fun: Emma Watson Belle Hairstyles

Have you seen the new Beauty and the Beast by Disney? We saw it opening day and fell in love with it! We are excited to show you our Belle hairstyles, as worn by Emma Watson. We demo how to do two cute Belle hairstyles from the movie, one converts into a second. Calais was thrilled to be ‘Belle’, as we know many of your little girls and toddlers will want to have “Belle” hair too!!

Hairstyle 2 Pretty Hair is Fun: Emma Watson Belle Hairstyles Pretty Hair is Fun: Emma Watson Belle Hairstyles

These two cute hairstyles will each take about 5 min each (if you transition the second from the first–an additional 5). These are great for beginners!!
You will need:
4-5 hair colored elastics or clear
one bobby pin
brush/comb to part with
a blue ribbon
curling iron/wand to achieve Belle’s curls

Hairstyle Instructions

~1. Make a center part to crown, and then down to each ear.

~2. Part off a round section on the crown of the head behind center part, and gather into a ponytail. I used a brown elastic to match her hair.

~3. Comb smooth the side sections and bring towards the back of the head, and when you are above the ear, begin a twist or roll the hair so it’s long enough to join in the back. Do this on both sides, and then fasten together in the middle, right in front of the first ponytailed section.

~4. Insert a bobby pin down into both elastics to keep front ponytail from moving.

This is the first hairstyle! To continue on to second, follow the next few steps…

~5. Gather the hair on both sides of the head, excluding the hair that is hanging down from the elastics. Smooth it on both sides and bring together over the top of the ponytailed hair and fasten together, but not tightly.

~6. Widen the area between the two sections (over the ponytailed hair) and do a pull through or flip the hair up and down through the hole you’ve created.

~7. Gather all the hair together about 1-2 inches below last section and elastic together. Take a topsy tail or rat tail comb and make a hole and do one more flip through.

~8. Tie a blue ribbon around the last elastic and you are done!! I curled her ends so it would look more like Belle.
