We hope you love this cute accent braid hairstyle. It also will create great 2nd day hair (Calais loves her hair the next day!). We did this as a toddler hairstyle, but I think it would be darling on your older girls as well!😊
For this hairstyle, you will need:
A couple of clips or elastics
One elastic for the final braid
Difficulty: Beginner to Medium
Works great on medium to long lengths of hair
~1. Part hair. Do a side part in front to ear line. Then part that larger section in half.
~2. Begin a dutch braid in first of the two sections, and add in hair until you get to the ear. Braid down until the braid reaches almost to the middle of her head in the back. Clip it off.
~3. Repeat step 2 on the second section.
~4. I sprayed the rest of her hair with some water, and combed smooth. I began a dutch braid on the opposite side of the initial side part, and began dutch braiding from her ear towards the other ear.
~5. When I got to the middle of her head, I measured the topmost small accent braid to see where it would meet with this larger braid.
~6. Where it meets the braid, I unclipped it and added it in with loose hair to my braid. Do this with both accent braids separately.
~7. After both accent braids are added in, continue the large braid down and over her shoulder to the ends.
~8. Spray with hairspray and you are done!
Hope you LOVE it! Have a great Valentine’s day tomorrow! Find us on Instagram for more fun pics!!
