This cute and SUPER fast hairstyle is something Cetera does at least once a week since she’s cut her hair. It is so easy and quick– perfect for a school morning. She pulls the rope twist out wide and it blends in with her curls, or do it tight for sleeker looks, like straight hair.
For this hairstyle you will need:
5 min or less
Clear elastic and/or bobby pin
Whatever tools you need to finish off the rest of your hair (flat iron, wand, etc).
~1. Begin by parting on the side. About two inches back from face, and about and inch or two down from the part, flip over a section of hair. This will cover your braid elastic when you are done.
~2.Pick up a small section of big side of part, and split in half– like prepping to do a french style braid.
~3. After splitting in half, begin twisting two pieces around each other. After one twist, add in hair only to piece that is closest to the face, making a lace braid.
~4. Continue until you are about an inch above the ear (follow hairline down). Pull twist tightly to head and put in elastic.
~5. If the elastic is sticking out from the head a bit, take a bobby pin and stick it through the elastic and fasten it to the head.
~6. Flip down the hair that you flipped up out of the way and cover the elastic/end of braid.
~7. Cetera curled the rest of her hair, so she pulled the braid wide to blend in.
